We are four journalists and analysts united by a single obsession: the Eurovision Song Contest. Our mission is to provide the most accurate, up-to-date, and insightful Eurovision betting odds comparison on the internet.
Our Mission
EurovisionOdds.org was founded in 2023 with a simple goal: make Eurovision betting transparent, fair, and accessible. We compare odds from every major bookmaker so you never overpay for a bet. We write analysis rooted in data, not hype. And we hold ourselves to the highest standards of responsible gambling advocacy.
Between us, we have attended 47 Eurovision Grand Finals, published over 360 articles, and tracked more than 50,000 odds movements. We are not a faceless odds aggregator — we are journalists who live and breathe Eurovision.
Meet the Team
Elena Vasquez
Editor-in-Chief & Eurovision Correspondent
Elena has covered the Eurovision Song Contest for over 15 years, attending every Grand Final since 2010. She began her career at RTÉ in Dublin before moving to London to cover European entertainment for The Guardian and The Independent. She holds a Master's in Journalism from City, University of London and has interviewed more than 200 Eurovision artists. Elena founded EurovisionOdds.org in 2023 to combine her two passions: Eurovision and the science of betting markets.
James Whitfield
Senior Betting Analyst
James is a former odds compiler for a leading UK bookmaker, where he spent 8 years pricing entertainment and specials markets — including Eurovision. He understands how bookmakers set odds, where the value lies, and when the market is wrong. Since joining EurovisionOdds.org, James has correctly predicted 3 of the last 4 Eurovision winners in his pre-contest analysis. He studied Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh and is a member of the Royal Statistical Society.
Astrid Lindqvist
Nordic & Scandinavian Editor
Born in Malmö, Sweden — the city that hosted Eurovision 2013 — Astrid grew up immersed in Eurovision culture. She studied Media & Communications at Stockholm University and worked as a music journalist for Aftonbladet and SVT before joining our team. Astrid provides unmatched insight into the Nordic selections (Melodifestivalen, UMK, Melodi Grand Prix) and has sources across every Scandinavian broadcaster. She speaks Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, and English fluently.
Marco Ferretti
Data Journalist & Odds Tracker
Marco is the numbers behind every odds table on the site. A former data scientist at Oddschecker, he built automated systems that track odds movements across 14+ bookmakers in real time. Marco holds a PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Bologna and brings academic rigour to Eurovision odds analysis. He created our proprietary prediction model that weights jury appeal, televote patterns, staging potential, and historical country performance.
Our Editorial Standards
Independence. We are editorially independent from every bookmaker we feature. Our odds comparisons are automated and unbiased — we show whoever has the best price, not whoever pays us the most.
Accuracy. Odds are updated hourly from primary bookmaker feeds. Every article is fact-checked against official Eurovision sources (EBU, eurovision.tv, national broadcaster announcements) before publication.
Transparency. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click through to a bookmaker and create an account, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. This is clearly disclosed and does not influence our editorial content or odds rankings.

How Our Odds Comparison Works
Our system aggregates odds from 14+ licensed bookmakers including Betfred, Bet365, Unibet, Betsson, William Hill, Paddy Power, Betfair, Ladbrokes, 888sport, Betano, and Bwin. We track 8 distinct betting markets: Winner, Top 10, Jury Winner, Televote Winner, Best Nordic, Best Balkan, Best Big-4, and Best Baltic.
Marco's automated tracking system polls bookmaker APIs every hour, logging every odds change. This data feeds our odds tables, movement indicators, and trend charts. James then applies his bookmaker expertise to identify where the market is mispricing entries — that's where our "value bet" recommendations come from.
Elena and Astrid provide the qualitative layer: artist analysis, staging assessments, jury voting pattern insights, and on-the-ground reporting from pre-parties and rehearsals. The combination of data science and journalism is what sets EurovisionOdds.org apart.
